About the role
Avantaga is looking for a finance professional with approximately 3–5 years of experience to work closely with the founder on recurring financial analysis, management reporting, financial modelling, and the development of governed AI-assisted finance workflows.
This is a hands-on role. You will work with financial and operational information, spreadsheets, models, reports, and supporting evidence to help produce finance outputs that are accurate, traceable, well-structured, and ready for review.
The role combines traditional finance discipline with practical use of modern AI tools. AI can assist with analysis, research, organisation, and drafting, but important calculations, assumptions, evidence, exceptions, and conclusions must remain transparent and reviewable.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, rigorous, curious, and highly dependable. You should be comfortable working independently, asking questions when information is unclear, and taking responsibility for completing work to a high standard.
